Rachel Edelman

Rachel Edelman, a 2000 graduate of the University of Michigan, helped to found SOLE along with Peter Romer-Friedman, Lee Palmer, and others after participating in a Union Summer program in Denver, CO. Edelman was a key organizer of both the 1999 and 2000 sit-ins. After graduation, she went on to work for the national USAS organization and eventually ended up doing event planning and fundraising for non-profits in New York City.
