This document is a report to the University of Michigan community in the wake of violent protesting by SDS members against military recruiting taking place on campus in February 1970. Within this document, the President of the University of Michigan, Robben Fleming, states that the University will always support students who peacefully protest and voice their opinions, but it will step in to stop any form of violent protesting. Police forces will be used if needed.
