In this article, the Director of the Engineering Placement Service in 1970, John G. Young, argues to the Student Government Council that SDS should be no longer be considered a student organization on campus. Mr. Young was upset about how members of SDS violently disrupted a recruiting visit taking place on campus. Mr. Young found this form of protesting to be unfitting of Michigan students, and therefore argued that SDS should no longer be considered a student organization.
