John Chamberlin
John Chamberlin is an emeritus professor of political science and public policy at the University of Michigan. In 1999 he was appointed chair of the President's Advisory Committee on Labor Standards and Human Rights, the temporary committee that preceded the establishment of the standing committee. Although Chamberlin only served as chair for one year, he oversaw the drafting of an updated Code of Conduct for university apparel licensees in the aftermath of the first SOLE sit-in at a crucial time in the beginning of the anti-sweatshop movement at Michigan.
