Larry Root
Larry Root is a professor of social work and director of the Office of Global Activities at the University of Michigan. Root served as chair of the President's Advisory Committee on Labor Standards and Human Rights from 2000-2007, encompassing two of the three SOLE sit-ins and major debates about the WRC, Nike, Coca-Cola, the DSP, and more. In 2007 he was succeeded by Sioban Harlow.
