Peter Romer-Friedman

Peter Romer-Friedman graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 and became a founding member of SOLE after an internship through the AFL-CIO's Union Summer program in New Orleans. Romer-Friedman was one of the main organizers of the 1999 and 2000 sit-ins and handled much of the media interaction for SOLE. After graduating from Michigan, Romer-Friedman attended Columbia Law School and went on to work as labor counsel for Senator Ted Kennedy. Romer-Friedman currently works as a lawyer in the Washington, D.C. area.
