More Letters to the Administration

UM faculty vote for divestment at a Senate Assembly meeting, February 14, 1983.

As the legal battles went on between the state of Michigan and the University throughout the 1980s, students, faculty, and people from across the country wrote letters to the administration. Some of these letters are displayed below.

President Shapiro recieved so many letters regarding South Africa that a general form letter was used to reply to most individuals.
